Enviro Portal Demo
The data in this demo is public monitoring data taken at three landfills in the Miami Florida area, downloaded from the Florida DEP website, and converted into the Enviro Data format. The basemap is Google Earth.
To Create a List or Map of Results
- Select the options for the data that you would like to retrieve.
- For example to show station flags on the map, select the site Medley Landfill.
- In stations scroll down to and select MW-15SSR.
- To select contiguous stations select the first station then hold the shift key then the last station.
- Or you can use the Control key to select random stations.
- Once you have made your selections, click either the List or Map buttons.
Creating and Using a Saved Search
Once you have made a selection you want to save enter a name in the Save this search? box. When you have a saved search, to use it select it from the or use a saved search dropdown at the bottom and the criteria boxes will be automatically populated. Then click List, Map or Chart (if available). You can modify the saved search, and even save it as a new search.
Feel free to try other combinations. Note that if you don't make any selections, you will retrieve more than 100,000 records, and it may take a while.
Graph
In order to produce a Graph, you can only select one station and one or two parameters. Once you have made a selection, click on the Graph button.
Tree View
This option displays the data in a hierarchical view. You can expand the nodes by clicking on the line. Unlike the other output options, the Tree View displays all the data in the database, not just the data you have selected with the filter criteria. This can be handy to quickly find the results of one sample or analysis.
End Demo and return to Enviro Portal page.
Note that your result will open in a new browser page that should be closed when you have finished with it.
